Life in Hawthorne Gardens

We have a nice little apartment community here, with a lot of great people. I've been here about a year and a half now, and I've become good friends with my neighbors.

A few weeks ago we had a barbecue to celebrate the upcoming marriage of Steffen & Julia, and the upcoming parenthood of Josh & Megan. Unfortunately we also had to say goodbye to Josh & Megan who are moving back to Seattle. We'll certainly miss those guys!

The party started around 3 or so...and ended pretty late (12? I don't really recall what time it was)...anyway, we all had a lot of fun. Here's most of the residents of Hawthorne Gardens (well, at least a lot of us):



I took lots more pictures, which can be seen here. And I want to apologize to all the neighbors who weren't at the party but might have been bothered by the noise; fortunately, we don't (too) often stay up partying that late or that loud.

I hope that Seattle is ready for Josh & Megan; I know that Palo Alto is diminished by their absence already.
