Palo Alto Twilight Concerts

One of the nice things about Palo Alto is the summer Twilight Concert series, which are staged in parks around the city from June to August. It's been going on for about five years or so and I always enjoy sitting in the park listening to good music & picnicking with my fellow Palo Altans. This year kicked off last night at Mitchell Park with 'Native Elements', a reggae band; they were really great!

My friends Dave & Angie like to bring their kids to the twilight concerts -- here's Dave & his daughter Eve, sampling the takeout sushi:
and Makenna, wanting to go out & dance:

My niece Krista has perfected the extended-arm self portrait; I'm still learning. Here's a great picture of Angie & a crappy (but sadly representative) picture of my goofy self:

I do enjoy the twilight concerts, even if work makes it hard for me to go. This year I intend to make at least half of them -- let's see if the job cooperates.
